Jaye’s Best Days was created in memory of Jessica “Jaye” Kogut Lezark and inspired by one of her final wishes: to continue helping others live more of their best days. Today, we carry her legacy forward by bringing our community together, supporting meaningful causes, and creating opportunities to make a lasting difference.

September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month
September holds special meaning for Jaye’s Best Days. Jaye was diagnosed with Stage 4 ovarian cancer, and this month gives us another opportunity to honor her life while raising awareness for a disease that affects women and families every year. Throughout September, we’re proud to Turn the Town Teal in Jaye’s memory and in recognition of everyone whose life has been touched by ovarian cancer. Know the symptoms. Share the message. Turn the town teal.
There is currently no routine screening test for ovarian cancer. Early detection starts with recognizing subtle symptoms like persistent bloating, pelvic discomfort, and feeling full quickly.

Jaye believed deeply in living fully, loving generously, and finding joy even in the ordinary moments. Jaye’s Best Days was created to carry that spirit forward by giving others more opportunities to experience connection, kindness, hope, and a few more best days of their own.
